A SPIRIT OF INGENUITY
THE BEGINNING
1999–Early 2000s
Precision, Defined
Waterstone Faucets is founded by American entrepreneur Chris Kuran with a singular conviction: that drinking water products should be engineered and manufactured without compromise. Built in California, Waterstone begins by producing best-in-class components for water filtration systems, earning early recognition for bench-made craftsmanship, disciplined engineering, and unwavering quality standards the foundation of a true luxury faucet brand.

From Filtration to the Full Kitchen
Seeing an unmet opportunity in the luxury kitchen market, Waterstone redefines the filtration faucet as a design - forward fixture, introducing decorative water filtration faucets through select Kitchen & Bath showrooms. The collection expands beyond the sink with the pot filler, and by mid-decade evolves into a complete line of luxury kitchen faucets—uniting performance, proportion, and finish into a cohesive kitchen offering.

With a complete kitchen foundation established, Waterstone introduces innovations rooted in mechanical integrity and architectural intent. The Positive Lock Pulldown sets a new benchmark for reliability and control, while the Gantry faucet, inspired by the industrial cranes of the Los Angeles Harbor, brings structural presence and unmistakable strength to the luxury kitchen. These designs reinforce Waterstone’s reputation for mechanical integrity, architectural presence, and engineering-led innovation.

A New Expression
2024
Aspect by Waterstone Launches
In 2024, the Waterstone legacy evolves with purpose. Built on decades of American craftsmanship and engineered luxury, Waterstone introduces Aspect by Waterstone as a sister brand—created to stand alongside it with clarity and intent. While Waterstone continues to define the highest tier of luxury kitchen faucets and fully customizable kitchen solutions, Aspect carries those same uncompromising quality standards forward through a more curated expression, created to broaden the Waterstone vision through international design collaboration and a more focused, attainable assortment. Together, the two brands form a complementary ecosystem distinct in expression, unified in values, and centered on the kitchen. During this evolution, bath collections originally developed at Waterstone—including Argonaut and Rainstone—transition fully to Aspect. This move enables deeper European design collaboration and creative flexibility, allowing the bath category to grow and evolve within a brand purpose-built for that expansion—while honoring its Waterstone origins.
